Tabitha Adkins is a 32 year old mother of two

fabulous children Nick-11 and Kaitlyn-10. She was

raised in the outskirts of Pittsburgh Pa, now residing

in Charleston WV attending Marshall University

working on her Masters degree in Clinical-Mental

Health Counseling. After many years in the nursing

field Tabitha decided that she wanted to be able

to help women understand how beautiful they

are regardless of background or size. When not

working, going to school, or running around with

her children: Tabitha enjoys the simple pleasures

of life: going for walks, thinking that she can be

a gardener, and spending time with best friends,

family and partner in crime. If Tabitha could leave

one lasting impression not only for her daughter

but for every girl out there (aged 1-99) it would be

Jessica Starnes is an aspiring model from Sumter,

South Carolina. She is a step mother to a 10 year

old young lady. When she is not being a mom she

enjoys going to the movies, reading, dancing,

traveling, cooking, spending time with her family

and taking walks on the beach. Jessica not only

wants to be a model, she also has plans to open

a daycare to help working parents ease the

worry of childcare. Jessica’s daycare will be open

24 hours for parents who work late nights and

overnights as well. A beautiful face and a more

A Philadelphia native, Dawn Hall received a Masters degree in Psychology from LaSalle

University. Her career affords her the opportunity to help others to re-enter society and

become productive members of our community. Dawn balances a challenging career

with being a devoted wife to John and doting mother of 6 year old Jayson. Dawn pursued

modeling as a teen and was often met by size and height requirement barriers. However,

with the movement towards size acceptance and plus size models finding their place in

the fashion industry, She is realizing her personal goals and dreams in an industry that she

loves. Dawn has worked with Elite Unlimited and Aiden Seven Model Management. She

has walked the runway in many local fashion shows. She has participated in print, and

promotional modeling projects and has theatre and media experience. In addition to her

work as a model Dawn has authored blogs for two fashion related websites. She enjoys

cultural and linguistic studies, dancing, reading, music, and poetry. Dawn seeks to represent

and inspire the everyday “real” women in her modeling career and in all her ventures

in the fashion industry. “We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Much of what happens

to us is a sum total of our experiences. In order to be a star we must love and accept ourselves

for who we are and not be afraid to shine.”

Alexis is an only child born and raised in Queens, NY where she lived with her parents. She is
a hard working young lady that works a Medical Assistant at a doctor’s office and a Patient
Transport at a hospital. When she is not diligently working and helping others she enjoys exercising,
listening to music, reading, singing, shopping, dancing, writing and lots more. She
is described by most people that know her as a trustworthy, honest, outgoing, aggressive,
weird and fun person. Like most people Alexis has struggled with her weight. After discovering
and making juicing work for her, she is maintaining a healthy lifestyle and is now on a
quest to teach people the importance of juicing.

My name is Jamila Choyce and I am a writer and fashion blogger. I am excited to be a part of the MIMS/Queen Magazine family. In addition, I am an actress, plus size model print and runway.
I act because it is so much fun to transform into a new human being. It is an opportunity to pursue a new personality and identity. I have appeared in numerous movies, commercials, and Community Theaters. Another method of transformation is when I put on a pair of 4” stiletto and walk the runway in Fashion Shows. In reality, I am a single mom with two teenagers. I reside in Northern California with my 15 year old daughter who is also an actress and model, and my thirteen year old son who loves to play ice hockey. concerns including dermatomyositis, lupus and diabetes, among others. I love fashion, shopping, clothes, and education. I am a graduate of Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA, Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, and University of California, Davis, CA. When I am not acting or modeling, I am a credentialed elementary school teacher. I really enjoy teaching students who are struggling academically and who are from low-income families. I believe that education is one of the most important common dominators that can change a student’s entire life. I am on a journey to excellent health by exercising five times a week and eating more fruit and vegetables, because I want to enjoy a long life with my children. My goal is not to be skinny or thin, and I love my curves. My goal is to be healthy and live a long productive life. Moreover, I am proud to represent Thick and Plus size women, because we are the real sizes of over one billion women worldwide.

A Houston Texas native who now resides in Queens New York with his wife and two beautiful daughters; Erick is the CEO and Founder of Erick Wiz Design. Equipped with an Associate’s degree in fine arts from Queens borough College and Bachelor degree in graphic design from SVA (School of Visual Arts), in 2008 Erick started up his own company and name it Erick Wiz Design. Erick Wiz Design is a company that is focused and has great passion in working with small startup businesses because they’re more open to creative ideas they’re and are to take some risks. The goal is to form alliances with these entrepreneurial
types in order to create a loyal customer base. Erick believes that starting out on the ground floor with these companies helps build trust and longevity. Erick Wiz Design offers identity development, which includes the design of a company’s logo then establishing their guidelines within a brand book that will help their identity remain consistent across all of their marketing materials including websites, ads, stationary, T-Shirts and a whole lot more. Erick Wiz Design has worked with many different companies such as event planners, fashion designers, publishers, multimedia companies, aspiring musicians, and music production companies, just to name a few. As a graphic designer, Erick loves what he does and takes great pride in his work. Creativity has been his passion since the early age of nine. When Erick is not in front of his computer working, he
enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games and working out. Growing up as a kid Erick wanted to be a comic book artist. On late Fridays night into Saturday mornings he would stay up just drawing all sorts of different types of superheroes and making up stories for them. Perhaps that was his gateway to his dream. Erick is going back to school to pursue his Masters in branding as well.

Philip Drew was born in Queens, New York. His mother was born and raised in Barbados. He spent eight years attending school in Caribbean. He later returned to the states and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He loves critical thinking tasks. While in Barbados he learned the game of chess and has won several trophies. Philip is known by many of his peers as a hard working, detail oriented person and always eager to learn things. He has been working since he was in high school. He is currently an Audio Visual Tech at a well known hospital in Long Island. When he is not working he dedicates most of his time to helping others. In his downtime he can be found relaxing, watching movies and playing video games. Philip is the Executive Director of Queen Size Magazine and M.I.M.S. Magazine. He is very involved in the day to day operations and productions of both magazines. He has plans on opening his own lounge in the near future along with a list of other goals he intends on fulfilling.
